- Evaluate how pathogens can be controlled during the feed manufacture process
- Determining the nutritional consequences of pathogen control during feed manufacture
- Evaluate the use of feed additives and exogenous feed enzymes on poultry performance
Outreach:
- Work directly with the Mississippi and surrounding poultry industry to help improve poultry performance and improve feed hygiene of pelleted feed
- Attend and participate in workshops, industry meetings, and national/international scientific poultry meetings
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals, newsletters, and popular press journals
